INGREDIENTS

Stuffed Chinese Black Mushrooms
1/4 lbFresh tofu
1 mdChopped scallion
2 Garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 tsSesame seeds, toasted
1 tsOriental sesame oil
2 tsFresh ground ginger

1 tsSoy sauce
1 tsLiquid sweetener
1 pnSalt
1 pnBlack pepper


Stuffed Chinese Black Mushrooms
1/4 cWheat germ or bread crumbs
20 lgChinese dried blk. mushrooms
soaked at least 20 mins.,
cleaned and stemmed



METHOD

Stuffed Chinese Black Mushrooms
1.Crush the tofu in a bowl.
2.Mix in all the ingredients except the mushrooms.
3.When the mixture is thoroughly blended, stuff and top the mushrooms with it.


Stuffed Chinese Black Mushrooms
4.Either grill the stuffed mushrooms for 3-5 minutes on a lightly oiled stovetop grill, or an oiled, very hot, thick-bottomed frying pan, or broil them for 7-9 minutes in the oven.
